How Air Regulations is taught

Regulations are easy to memorise and easy to confuse, so the teaching ties each rule to the situation it governs. Students practise on the Aerogenesis CPL question bank (8,798 DGCA-style questions with worked solutions across 202 chapters, shared across subjects), and the learning system adds chapter-wise notes, video lessons and weekly progress tests.

Classes are led by pilot mentors, including Gp Capt Saideep Lall (Retd), an IAF experimental test pilot with 4,000+ hours on 13 aircraft types, and Capt Vidhi Sharma, an active Airbus A320 captain. Rules are explained from the cockpit side: what you must do, and why.

Regulations change. Always confirm the current text of a CAR or notice on the DGCA flight-crew guidance and Pariksha notices before an examination.

How the rules fit together

  1. The Bharatiya Vayuyan Adhiniyam, 2024 is the parent law. It came into force on 1 January 2025 and replaced the Aircraft Act 1934.
  2. The rules made under the Act set out the detailed requirements. Older rules, such as the Aircraft Rules 1937, have been or are being replaced by rules under the new Act, so check which text is current.
  3. DGCA Civil Aviation Requirements (CARs) turn the rules into specific requirements for licensing, operations and airworthiness.
  4. The ICAO Annexes to the Chicago Convention set the international standards that India follows or files differences against.

A simplified orientation, not legal advice. The legislative framework is changing; use the current official texts for exact requirements.

Who this is for

  • Candidates completing their papers in stages.
  • Candidates who want to strengthen one subject before an examination attempt.
  • Students who studied other subjects elsewhere and want this one with pilot mentors.

What a student says
