The ground-training, flying-training and conversion-preparation stages run sequentially. Plan examinations, medical appointments, travel and documentation early so the transition between stages is organised. The normal 18–21-month estimate is confirmed through your individual plan; regulatory assessment and licence issuance have separate timing.

A proprietary bank of 8,798 DGCA-style questions across 202 chapters and all 5 theory subjects — Air Regulations, Meteorology, General & Radio Navigation and Instruments. Every question carries a worked explanation, the interface mirrors the DGCA exam screen, and instructors track each cadet's chapter-by-chapter progress.
Practise radio communication with our interactive RTR(A) simulator. Push-to-talk phraseology practice on the DGCA syllabus — 281 structured voice drills from radio check to MAYDAY, plus 60 timed 30-minute Part B mock exams flown on real Indian routes with the actual route chart, METAR and NOTAMs.

Flight Simulator
Theory classes are only half the training. At our Bengaluru facility, cadets follow up their ground classes with sessions on our flight simulator station, with an Airbus-style sidestick and throttle and a curved cockpit display, guided by pilot mentors. What is taught in class is followed up in the seat, not left in a notebook.
Very few ground schools in Bangalore put a flight simulator in front of cadets during ground training. We don't just make cadets exam-ready. We make them aviation-ready.
The simulator is a learning aid. Sessions do not count towards DGCA licence flying hours.

On the flagship pathway, every cadet can pursue a UGC-recognised B.Sc (Vocation) in Hospitality & Aviation Management from Lingaya's Vidyapeeth — a Deemed-to-be University — in parallel with CPL training. It answers the one question every parent asks: "What does my child have to show for it if flying doesn't work out?" With Aerogenesis, the answer is a full university degree running alongside the licence, not after it.

How to read your training timeline
Aerogenesis normally plans 18–21 months for stages 1, 2 and 3 completed sequentially under expert guidance across its advertised countries. Ground training: 4 months. Flying: 11–12 months in the USA; 14–15 months in other advertised countries. Stage 3: approximately 1–2 months for conversion flying and documentation only. Give 3 months’ advance notice for conversion planning; this is not an additional training stage. These are indicative phase durations, not a promise that each student takes every stage’s maximum duration. Confirm your individual overall schedule before enrolment. DGCA assessment and licence issuance have separate, regulator-controlled timing.

How long does commercial pilot training in Bangalore take?
Ground training takes 4 months, online or in a classroom. Flying training takes 11–12 months in the USA or 14–15 months in other available countries. Conversion flying and documentation take approximately 1–2 months, with 3 months’ advance notice for planning. DGCA assessment and licence issuance follow separately without a guaranteed processing time. Individual schedules depend on training progress and completion of the required formalities.

Who is eligible?
Class 12 with Physics and Maths — commerce or arts students can qualify via NIOS (our NIOS guide explains how). You'll also need a DGCA Class 2 then Class 1 medical; see the Class 1 medical guide.
