Honest Framing

We don't have a Hyderabad campus, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we do have is a training centre a short flight away, and a process designed so the parts that need to happen in person (ground classes, medicals, the actual flying training abroad) are worth the travel — while everything else happens over phone and video.

The Commute

Hyderabad to Bengaluru is roughly 560–570 km by road via NH7, or about 1 hour 10–15 minutes by air, with frequent daily flights on IndiGo, Air India and Air India Express. For a 4-month ground school phase, most Hyderabad-based students relocate to Bengaluru for the duration rather than commute — we'll help you plan whichever fits your situation.

Why Bengaluru Over a Local Option

The honest answer is mentorship quality, not proximity. Our ground school is taught directly by Gp Capt Saideep Lall (Retd.), an IAF experimental test pilot, and Capt Vidhi Sharma, an active Airbus A320 captain — not junior instructors reading a syllabus. If a coaching class closer to home offers comparable mentor access, that's worth strong consideration too; if it doesn't, the flight is a small cost against four months of your training foundation.

On Your DGCA Medicals

Class 2 medicals are widely available at DGCA-approved centres, including in Hyderabad. Class 1 medicals, however, are conducted only at five centres nationally — Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai and Jorhat — so Hyderabad-based students will need to travel for this step regardless of where they train. We coordinate this as part of our parallel-execution process during ground school, so it doesn't add extra time to your timeline.

The Full Pathway

Same structure regardless of where you start from: DGCA ground school in Bengaluru (~4 months), flying training at our partner FTO in Florida, USA (~7–8 months), and DGCA licence conversion support on your return. See the complete Integrated Pilot Mentorship Program for the full breakdown.

Frequently Asked Questions
